Good Bye My Dear Friend

Yesterday, while nesting, Donavan and I went through all of our shoes and put together a donation pile. We have now narrowed our shoes down to 3 shoe racks and 2 hanging shoe holders. Of the shoes I had to part with the most difficult pair were my green Asics trail running shoes. These are my all time favorite running shoes. For those of you who run you know once you find that perfect pair its hard to break the tie. I completed my first half marathon in them and my first triathlon in them. They have been dead for almost 2 years now but I haven’t been able to part with them saying I will cross train in them. Now that I have my Reebok Easy Tones there is no need to hold on to them anymore. I have purchased 2 more pairs of the most recent version of Asics trail running shoes and I’m sure once I get them broken in they will be just as comfortable but I am sad to see them go.
