I’m sorry I’ve been MIA but since my mom left I’ve been adjusting to life on my own with two little ones. So much has happened so I’m going to do a mash up of everything I’ve been wanting to blog about. I want to start by saying as terrified as I was to be on my own I have loved every minute of the last few days. I keep falling more in love with those children everyday.
Isabella hit the one month mark yesterday (4 weeks old). I cant believe how fast it has gone by. She is becoming more alert everyday. Right now she is just looking around taking everything in. She is squirming around and reaching out at people talking to her. Isabella is getting more and more beautiful everyday. She has Donavan’s big beautiful eyes and the cutests button nose. Sometime she giggles in her sleep and it is the cutest noise I’ve ever heard. The last couple of days we have had some trouble nursing. She would become hysterical when I would get her in the cross cradle hold but today it looks like we are back on the same page. Here is a picture of her before her bath last night.
How adorable is that little face
Caleb is still the most amazing big brother. He has lots of kisses for his little sister. This week we were hit with either allergies or a cold due to the crazy weather. Poor Caleb got hit the hardest so we have had a lot of mommy and me cuddle time. He is still full of energy but he tapers off a little earlier than usual and he naps longer. Luckily he is old enough now to take medicine which has helped. Caleb is so cute everytime some sneezes or coughs he says “Thesh Choo” which translates to Bless You, I think. Its so cute I want to sneeze all the time so I can hear him say it. His black eye is almost cleared up.
I also want to send a big congrats to Tim and Michelle Dickson who welcomed baby Marco last night.
