I love filling out runner’s bucket lists as mine is constantly evolving. This one is from Competitor Magazine:
1) Historic Race: Marine Corps Marathon - Washington, DC
- being from DC this is a must
2) Relay: The Relay – Calistoga, CA to Santa Cruz, CA
- I think this would epitomize my CA running era
3) Ultra Marathons: Ironman – Kona, HI
- I think I will skip running 50 or more miles and go for the ironman
4) International Marathon – Athens Marathon – Athens, Greece
- so I can feel like a God
5) Big Urban Marathons – ING New York City Marathon – New York, NY
- of course this is on my bucket list!
6) Scenic Race – Big Sur Marathon – Big Sur, CA
- This was in the top 10 most beautiful places to run.
7) Set a PR – Country Music Marathon – Nashville, TN
- It would be awesome to PR on the same course that got my running career started
8) Obstacle Race – Muddy Buddy – Anywhere
- This looks so fun!
9) Party Race – Mardi Gras Marathon – New Orleans, LA
- do you really need a reason
10) Running Festival – Bay to Breakers – San Francisco, CA
- This race is a site to be seen
