Here we are at the end of week one and it’s time to prove that I meant what I said and I said what I meant (Dr. Seuss reference). When I created the initial post I had my game plan in mind and was pretty confident that I could it. This week I focused on my diet. Keeping all meals around the 3oo calorie mark. I really tried to make each meal vegetarian. I eliminated as many of liquid calories as I could. I haven’t been able to part with my coffee yet. My second focus was on my work outs. Donavan and I have been training 4 days a week on weights and I’ve kept my cardio schedule pretty regular. I wanted to push my body to different limits so I minimized running and opted for other cardio options. With marathon training coming up I will start to incorporate running back into my routine. If you want to keep track of my workouts you can do so by checking me out on dailymile.com.
I have to admit I was secretly hoping to get a number higher than 2 but told myself I would be happy with 2. I felt confident in my work and will power this week but when it came time to weigh in I got VERY nervous. If I didn’t lose those 2 pounds I would be so disappointed and would really have a hard time picking myself up to start another week.
Week One Results ( only 5 days since I started on Monday)
